Meet Wendy
In my journey as a Certified Trauma Informed Coach, I’ve come to understand the profound impact that trauma can have on how we think, feel, and respond to the world around us. Through both my training and personal experience, I’ve seen how learning to work with the nervous system can create meaningful, lasting change.
My path into this work is deeply personal. As a parent of adopted children who have experienced significant early trauma, I have spent years navigating complex emotional and behavioral needs. This journey has given me a real, lived understanding of regulation, attachment, and what it means to create safety in everyday moments. It has also shaped the way I support others—with compassion, patience, and a deep respect for each person’s unique experience.
I know that behind behaviors there is always a story, and that when we begin to understand the nervous system, we can respond in ways that build connection rather than conflict.
My mission is to bring this understanding to individuals, families, and communities across Arizona—helping to create safer, more compassionate environments where people feel supported and able to thrive.
Through my partnership with The Mental Wellbeing Company, I bring together trauma informed practice and positive psychology in a way that is accessible, practical, and grounded in real life. As a Certified Trauma Informed Coach, I have completed the ICF and CPD accredited Somatic Trauma Informed Coaching Certification and am part of the Trauma Informed Professional Network.
This training has equipped me to deliver workshops and 1:1 coaching sessions that prioritize emotional safety, nervous system awareness, and sustainable wellbeing—whether I’m supporting parents, educators, or organizations.
